PharmFest Scholarship

Recipients will be recognized and expected to be actively involved in the next PharmFest and any other pharma related activities. The selection committee will review applications and notify student recipients no later than May 1, 2010.

Criteria for Qualification:

• First-time, full-time graduate student in a master's program in CSAM, SBUS or the combined MS/MBA
• Intend on pursuing a career in the Pharmaceutical industry
• Prior appropriate work experience, internship or research, etc. with supporting letter(s) of recommendation helpful
• Award will be based on merit in accordance with the admission requirements as outlined by the program
• Be U.S. citizen or permanent resident

Application Process:

The following need to be submitted no later than March 30, 2010 to:

• A completed scholarship application
• A precise and concise statement (not to exceed 2 pages) of interest in a career in the pharmaceutical, medical devices, biotechnology or related industry

Award:

$3,000 per year for 2 years

Renewal:

(of second year award)

• Must maintain a minimum of 3.0 overall GPA
• No grade(s) lower than a B
• Maintained fulltime status prior semesters
• Participated in pharma related activities
