NSF Doctoral Fellowship in Mathematics Education available for Fall 2018

The Fellowship provides full tuition and a stipend of $20,000 per year, renewable for up to four years.

The National Science Foundation Doctoral Research assistantship supports full-time doctoral studies in Mathematics Education at Montclair State University.

The assistantship provides full tuition and a stipend of $20,000 per year, renewable for up to four years. NSF Doctoral Research assistants work with faculty and peers as they gain valuable research and teaching experiences working on almost every aspect of an NSF-funded project as they work toward a doctoral degree.

The assistantships will be awarded on a competitive basis.  Applicants will be expected to demonstrate both a strong potential for scholarly work in mathematics education and a passion for mathematics teaching and learning.

Applications for AY 2018-2019 will be considered through February 15, 2018. To apply for the assistantship, submit an online application for admission, indicating an interest in an assistantship.
