II. Functional Core (15 semester hours)
ACCT 501, Financial Accounting, 3 credits
FINC 501, Corporate Financial Management, 3 credits

MGMT 505, Management Process & Organizational Behavior, 3 credits
MKTG 501, Marketing Management, 3 credits

III. Managing the Business Environment (9 semester hours)
INBS 501, International Business: Concepts and Issues, 3 credits
ACCT 502, Managerial Accounting, 3 credits
ECON 505, Aggregate Economics, 3 credits

INBS 501 - advanced standing  - Upon review by the MBA Director, students who are determined to be eligible for advanced standing in International Business (INBS 501) may substitute an advanced INBS elective (from elective list E).

ACCT 502 - advanced standing - A student entering the MBA Program without appropriate coursework in Managerial and/or Cost Accounting will be required to take ACCT 502. Students who are determined to be eligible for advanced standing, upon review by the MBA Director, may substitute any MBA elective course.

ECON 505 - advanced standing - A student entering the MBA program without appropriate coursework in Macroeconomics will be required to take ECON 505. Students who are determined to be eligible for advanced standing, upon review by the MBA Director, may substitute any MBA elective course.

IV. Concentration and Electives (12-18 semester hours)
All students select at least 12 sh from MBA advanced elective courses. Students may declare one or two existing concentrations, OR they may choose not to concentrate, selecting an array of courses to meet their specific needs and interests, to complete a general MBA.

A concentration consists of 9-12 sh of designated electives (3-4 courses). Students with a double concentration take at least 9 sh in each area, for a total of up to 54 sh.

V. Capstone Course (3 semester hours)
MGMT 580, Advanced Strategic Management, 3 credits

Students must complete all Basic courses (I & II)  and a minimum of12semester hours of Advanced courses (III & IV) before enrolling in the capstone course.

Total Credits : 33-54, depending on advanced standing, and choice of double concentration(s)
