Master of Science in GeoscienceADMISSIONSPrior to matriculation the student should have completed a subject matter background of at least twenty-four (24) semester hours in the geosciences, as well as sufficient background in related sciences (physics, chemistry, mathematics). In cases of inadequate undergraduate backgrounds, prerequisite courses, not for graduate credit, may be assigned. Candidates must also fulfill additional criteria for graduate matriculation as listed in the current Graduate Catalog (see "Admission to Graduate School").
