We are looking for an undergraduate Grade Point Average of at least 3.0. Did I have to be a psychology major as an undergraduate student to be accepted into the Master's Concentration in Industrial Organizational Psychology? No, you do not need a B.A. in psychology to be accepted into the Master/s Concentration in Industrial Organizational Psychology. However, you must have at least 9 undergraduate credits in psychology to be accepted into the program. You must also have passed a course in Statistics or Quantitative Methods and a course in Experimental Methods or Research Methods to be accepted into the program. You may take these courses after you have obtained your undergraduate degree. What materials must I provide for you with my application?
Do I need to complete a thesis to graduate from this program? You have the option of completing either a thesis or an internship to graduate from the Master's Concentration in Industrial Organizational Psychology. A thesis is a more traditional research project involving a proposal, full literature search, data collection, analysis and reporting. An internship involves working in an organization (either an organization that you currently work in or a job you find while you are completing the program) and completing a project or solving a problem that is related to Industrial or Organizational Psychology.
