Appointments

The University Health Center (UHC) strives to meet your healthcare needs in a reasonable time frame.  Every attempt is made to provide the earliest available time based on urgency and the student’s class/work commitments.  Most students can be seen for an illness or injury within 24 hours of their request.  Routine preventive care appointments may require longer.

UHC is committed to seeing all patients in a timely manner so that a long wait is not experienced.  Most appointments are 30 minutes in length.  Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled time to complete or update paperwork, call if you need to cancel your appointment, or keep us informed if you can not arrive on time.  Late arrivals may be asked to reschedule.

Scheduling an Appointment

Telephone number: 973-655-4361

It is important for students requesting an appointment to state clearly the reason for the visit so the appointment can be scheduled with the appropriate clinician. All information is kept confidential and front desk receptionists are trained to understand your specific health care needs.
