Gains Coverage Elsewhere

If you have recently gained coverage elsewhere, you may wish to drop your health benefits with MSU.

Change your health insurance coverage:

1. Log into Benefitsolver
2. Select “Change my Benefits”
3. Under the “Life Event” tab select “Gains Coverage Elsewhere”
4. Enter the first date of the new coverage
5. Update your benefits within 60 days of the date of your new coverage

Note that you will need to submit a gain of coverage letter that indicates when your new benefits became effective
