Background Screening

Within the context of today’s realistic concerns about student and employee safety, we have determined that this is the appropriate time in which to undertake a broader initiative with respect to employee background screenings. In consideration of taking a measured but proactive approach toward enhancing safety and security on campus, we have contracted with an appropriate vendor to conduct background screenings for all new employees in regular positions. 

Please note, background screenings will be conducted for each final candidate selected as described above. Under no circumstance will an appointment letter be issued to the final candidate without satisfactory background screening result. Upon receipt of the results, official appointment letters will be prepared, signed by the President or appropriate individual, and sent to the candidate. If the candidate does not successfully clear the background screening process, the hiring managers will be notified immediately in order for an alternate candidate to be selected and screened.
