Setting Call Forwarding While On Campus

Requests for this feature can be made by filling out the online activation form and selecting ‘Enhanced Call Forwarding’. 

Press the Call Forward button on your phone . Wait for the confirmation tone and then enter the phone number, including a 9 and a 1 followed by the hash sign, for an off campus phone number, or the extension number followed by the hash sign for an internal extension.. For example, to forward a call to 973-973-9733, enter 9-1-973-973-9733# after the confirmation tone. The indicator light next to Call Forwarding will be on.

You may also activate Call Forwarding by lifting your handset and dialing *3. To Deactivate Call Forwarding While On Campus

Press the Call Forward button to deactivate Call Forwarding. The indicator light should now be off.
Call forwarding can also be deactivated by lifting the handset and dialing #3.

Setting Call Forwarding While Remote (Your University extension must be configured for Extension to Cellular)

Dial 973-655-2010, from the mobile phone you have indicated as your Extension to Cellular device, wait for the confirmation tone and then enter the phone number, including a 9 and a 1 followed by the hash sign. For example, to forward a call to 973-973-9733, enter 9-1-973-973-9733# after the confirmation tone. You can forward calls to an MSU extension as well, by entering the extension number followed by the hash sign.

To Disable Call Forwarding While Remote (Your University extension must be configured for Extension to Cellular)

Dial 973-655-2011 from the mobile phone that you have indicated as your Extension to Cellular device.
