The campus sits on the land of three towns: Montclair, Clifton, and Little Falls, and can be reached by car as well as public transportation.
Driving to Campus
Because Montclair State has ready access to several major highways, directions to campus vary significantly depending on where you are coming from. We recommend using Google Maps or similar to plan your visit.
Use Alexander Kasser Theater on College Avenue as a destination on Google Maps to reach the correct side of the campus for the Inserra events.
Parking
Use the Red Hawk Parking Deck on College Ave (past the bus stops on the right before the Police station). Hold on to your parking ticket and pay at the vending machine on your way back to the deck.
Public transportation
BUS: NJT 191 from Port Authority (use app to buy ticket and check on departure and arrival times, as well as real-time locations). The bus stop is on College Ave., at the Red Hawk Parking Deck.
TRAIN: NJT from Penn Station – take the train to Montclair State University but use the Montclair Heights stop (instead of the more intuitive Montclair State University station, which is the next one).
