-The deadline for entries for the MSU faculty and staff international travel photography exhibit, "Global Images," has been extended to Jan. 25. Judging will take place Feb. 4; winners will be announced Feb. 8. Winning pieces will be framed and installed March 26 for an exhibit opening April 4 in the University Gallery. The show is being co-sponsored by the Global Education Center.

-The meeting of the Board of Trustees scheduled for July 11 has been changed to July 18. The deadline for submission of materials is July 3.

-After a national search for a chief of University Police, Paul Cell has been named to the position. A graduate of the Essex County Police Academy, Cell has been at Montclair State 22 years. Read more about Cell in this week's On the Job.

-The Graduate School Office is now open until 7 p.m. Mondays and Thursdays.

-The Verona September 11 Fund is selling photographs of the World Trade Center and local Verona Hilltop scenes taken by University Photographer Mike Peters. Proceeds from the sale of the prints will go toward building a memorial in Verona to remember victims of the Sept. 11 attack as well as for academic scholarships. The 11-by-14-inch limited edition color prints can be purchased for $125 each. A discount framing coupon is included. Click here to see the photos.

-A new Web site offers guidelines on creating MSU Web pages and provides MSU logos and images, which can be downloaded for use on Web pages. Instructions on how to download an image are included on each image sheet page.
