-The Newman Catholic Center's 19th annual toy drive will continue through Dec. 14. Gifts can be brought to the Newman Center; the Student Center, Room 400; College Hall, Room 311; and Dickson Hall, Room 401. Gifts should be wrapped with a star attached indicating if the gift is for a boy or girl and the age. The Newman Catholic Center will hold Mass on Dec. 13 at 12:15 p.m. in the Student Center, Room 416. All are invited.
-Monday, Dec. 10, is "Mug Day" at the Red Hawk Diner. A free limited edition cobalt blue mug will be given to the first 100 customers with a purchase of $3.99 or more between 5 and 10 a.m.
-The deadline for faculty and staff to enter photographs for judging for the "Global Images: International Travel Photography by Faculty and Staff" exhibit is Jan. 18 at 4 p.m. in the University Gallery. Selected works will be exhibited April 4 through May 3. Winners will be announced Feb. 8. For more information and submission guidelines, call the Art Gallery at 5113.
-A new Web site offers guidelines on creating MSU Web pages and properly using the MSU logo and images, which can be downloaded for use on Web pages. Instructions on how to download an image are included on each image sheet page. -The name of the Department of Reading and Educational Media has been changed to the Department of Literacy and Educational Media.
