faculty member at the University of Kerala, India and Gabriela Lojová,
a faculty member of the English Language and Literature Department
at Comenius University in Bratislava, Slovakia, are at Montclair
State this semester teaching, observing and conducting research
on projects they hope will make lives better for people in their

Former
high school basketball star turns attention
to studies while she waits for new kidney
It has been just
five hours since her last dialysis treatment, and already Leslie
Cheteyan is worrying about being late for her next round. As soon
as the clock hits 12:45 p.m., she dashes out of her history course,
walks half a mile across campus and hops into her car. Twenty minutes
later, the 19-year-old sophomore parks in front of her house in

gives students opportunity

industry will have an opportunity to learn the ins and outs about
everything from research opportunities to the emerging field of

70th
anniversary of CCC honored
at the NJ School of Conservation
Montclair State's New
Jersey School of Conservation and the New Jersey Department of Environmental
Protection joined State Sen. Robert E. Littell in honoring the 70th
anniversary of the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) at the School
of Conservation. Stokes State Forest was home to two CCC camps,
one of which built and occupied Camp Wapalanne, the current campus
of Montclair State's School of Conservation.
