March 10: "MacHomer--The Simpsons Do MacBeth!" A smash hit around the world. Rick Miller does more than 50 Simpsons voices in a performance of Shakespeare's Scottish play in which Homer plays Macbeth, Barney is Macduff and Mr. Burns is King Duncan. 3 p.m., Memorial Auditorium. Tickets: $20.

March 15: "Russian-American Kids Circus." This breathtaking spectacle--performed entirely by boys and girls ages 6 to 16--is an acrobatic extravaganza. 7 p.m., Memorial Auditorium. Tickets: $15.

March 17: "Rope Stories: Spinning Yarns from Rope" performed by the National Theatre of the Deaf. An interactive American Sign Language performance experience including learning important life lessons through the stories and morals of Aesop's Fables, the telling of a Native American legend and an improv game. For ages 4-8. 3 p.m., Memorial Auditorium. Tickets: $15.

March 22: "The Big Adventures of Stuart Little." All the charm, wisdom and joy of the E.B. White original are captured in this enchanting musical adaptation of the endearing classic about a mild-mannered mouse named Stuart. For ages 3-8. 7 p.m., Memorial Auditorium. Tickets: $15.

    Nov. 20: "Women Artists in Asia" by Pacita Abad, the first woman to receive the Excellence 2000 Award from the U.S. Pan Asian-American Chapter of Commerce. She is internationally recognized for her trapunto murals.

    Nov. 27: "Identity Comes in Peers: Adolescence Case Studies in Australia and the U.S." by Christopher Hickey, professor in the Faculty of Education of Deakin University in Australia. He is a visiting scholar in the Department of Curriculum and Teaching.

Nov. 20: "The Negro Leagues." Larry Hogan of Union County College discusses the history and achievements of African-American baseball players.

Nov. 27: "Siena 2000." Describes the student experience in Montclair State's study abroad program in Italy, the history of Italian communes and the Jubilee Year in Rome. Features Vincenzo Bollettino of Spanish and Italian.

Dec. 4: "Music Education." Ruth Rendleman and Ting Ho of Music describe music's role in childhood development and education.

Dec. 11: "Alcohol Abuse and Addiction." Marion Fritsch, director of Hudson County NCADD, describes the differences between abuse, addiction and social drinking, the problems of college drinking, and how families can help addicts quit.

Nov. 27: General membership meeting of the Unity Collaboration. 2 p.m., Student Center, Room 417. The Unity Collaboration is a coalition of all segments of the campus community committed to sponsoring activities to improve communication and interaction among the diverse members of the communiity.

Dec. 5: Safe Space training. The GLBT (Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender) Safe Space Program identifies offices of Montclair State faculty and staff that are safe places for gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender people. Such offices are identified with a decal. Some of the people who display the decal are lesbian or gay, while others are supportive of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender individuals. Some safe space conversations might include questions about coming out on campus; the resources available on and off campus; how to cope with family and friends; the importance of role models among other items of importance. Nov. 21-Feb. 21: "Hank Greenberg: Hero for the Ages," a tribute to one of baseball's greatest stars. In commemoration of Greenberg's 90th birthday, the Museum will present an exhibition of rare memorabilia from his life. Greenberg was one of the greatest Jewish players in Major League history and a World War II hero. The display will include artifacts celebrating the career of the Detroit Tigers icon, including the "Sultan of Swat" crown presented to Greenberg in 1938 when he hit 58 home runs.

Dec. 6: Ballpark dinner and Greenberg discussion. An evening with journalist Ira Berkow. New York Times sports columnist and Hank Greenberg biographer, Berkow will provide insight into the life and legacy of the beloved baseball hero. Tickets: $50 include a casual dinner. Call for reservations.
