Members
of the campus community held a poetry reading of the works of the
late Aaron Kramer, father of Sociology professor Laura Kramer.

Partch's 'Oedipus' to be peformed at Kasser Theater
The first performance
in the Alexander Kasser Theater produced by MSU's Office of Arts
and Cultural Programming will feature vocalists who speak, intone
and sing the text of "Oedipus," and the real "stars,"
Harry Partch's unique instruments.
Students'
sleuthing develops their scientific literacy
Students and teachers from area high schools are participating in
an innovative educational program at Montclair State, which has
them learning about the science of epidemiology, the study of the
distribution of disease and the control of health problems, which
is not unlike detective work.
Critically
acclaimed science writer to deliver Sokol lecture
Steve Olson, one of the
country's most accomplished science writers and author of Mapping
Human History: Discovering the Past Through Our Genes, will
address this popular subject on March 9 at 8 p.m. in the Alexander
Kasser Theater.
