Services - Linking to Articles

The Sprague Library subscribes to a number of journal indexes that use stable Internet addresses articles available in full-text.
This feature allows faculty to include links to articles within those indexes in their Web syllabi.

Remember, some of the indexes do not use stable Internet addresses.

BioOne: Click here to enter.

  1. Search BioOne normally.
  2. Click on the title of the article desired.
  3. Resource Location: Copy this address, it is located just under the abstract. (see below)
  4. Paste that into your document.
  5. Add the EZProxy prefix to the beginning of that web address.
    EZProxy prefix: http://ezproxy.montclair.edu:2048/login?url=
The result will look like the link below:
    http://ezproxy.montclair.edu:2048/login?url=http://www.bioone.org/pdfserv/i0022-2585-041-04-0593.pdf
  6. Linking to BioOne: If the method above does NOT work consistently try these instructions from BioOne.
