Campus Map Instructions
The MSU Campus Map is intended to provide an overview of the campus, information about buildings, and walking directions between various destinations for anybody visiting the MSU campus. The following instructions are intended to provide a brief overview of the map's available features.
Selecting a Building
To view information about or to locate a building, select the building by name from the drop-down menu underneath the map.
Alternately, you can click on a building if you do not know the name of the building you're trying to find.
Viewing Building Information
Once you select a building the map will show the location of that building and a brief description including a photo (if one is available). From here you can use the navigation panel in the upper-left-hand corner of the screen to pan around the map or to zoom in or out.
At the bottom of the description you'll a list of the closest parking lots broken down based on who's allowed to park there.
Getting Directions
You can then get directions between two points by selecting one location and then selecting the other location from the "Get Directions:" pull-down menu underneath the map. When you're viewing directions from one point to another you can add destinations by clicking on additional buildings.
To get rid of the directions and go back to viewing building information, simply remove all the destinations on your list until only the building you want to view remains.
