- Academic Advising
The Center for Advising and Student Transitions (CAST) serves as the primary advising resource for freshmen and sophomore students by helping them make informed decisions about their courses and major choices, to think critically about their future goals, and to develop an understanding of their responsibilities as involved global citizens. CAST supports:

The Center for Career Services and Cooperative Education works with undeclared students, alumni, and on and off campus employers in all areas of career development.

- with undeclared students who want to learn how their interests and personalities relate to Montclair majors and the world of work
- with alumni who may want to change jobs or careers or need help with job hunting skills such as resume writing and interviewing
- with employers to generate cooperative education opportunities, internships, summer and part time work, full time job listings, and more
- The Center serves as the central office for the University's career development activities such as Career Fairs, workshops, employer information sessions and job listings of all sorts through our online system Career Directions.

The Global Education Center consolidates the University's international initiatives and programs and provides leadership and organizational focus for the University's globalization. The Center coordinates all international activities on campus, advances international objectives across colleges and schools, builds alliances, creates and cultivates international partnerships and serves as an international resource for the campus and the community.
- Honors Program
The Honors Program provides the kind of friendly intellectual community associated with a small liberal arts college in the heart of a vibrant and growing state university. We bring together talented students and dynamic teachers in small classes in order to offer students the best possible educational experience. We also provide special housing for Honors students and a range of extracurricular activities.

- International Services
The Office of International Services (IS) is responsible for providing a range of services, programs, and advising that supports the well-being of international students, scholars, and faculty at Montclair State University.
Our services include immigration advising and documentation, assitance for new international students, social programs, cultural adjustment programs, the International Living Community (ILC), and international student recruitment.
- Library, Sprague
The Library contains resources for and offers services to the students, faculty and staff of the University and is open to the public. During the academic year the Library is open to University students, faculty and staff 24/5. See full details about Hours of Operation.
Resources and services include: Books & Media; Articles & Databases; Guides & Resources; and Library Services. Café Diem also is located in Sprague Library.

- Online Programs
If most of your time is devoted to work and family, an online degree program may be your best bet. Our online programs will let you pursue a Master's degree while keeping the committments you've already made to your career and your family.
Montclair State offers four graduate programs for online study: Child Advocacy and Policy, MA; Educational Leadership, MA; Dance, MFA (Low Residency); and Homeland Security, Post-BA Certificate.
- Student Accounts
Student Accounts is responsible for the timely dissemination of accurate information relating to a student's financial account. We interact daily with students, parents, faculty, staff and administrators along with outside agencies either in person, by phone, fax, or email.
- Study Abroad
The Global Education Center organizes and administers a variety of study abroad programs to destinations throughout the world. Exciting opportunities exist for students to study abroad internationally for a summer, semester or year long program. Studying abroad is often reported to be the most memorable and rewarding experience of a college career.
- Summer Sessions
By providing undergraduate and graduate courses, Summer Sessions can help you graduate on time, accelerate your degree progress, or focus on a challenging course. With over 750 course offerings, a variety of sessions - and face-to-face, online, or hybrid instruction - the summer also provides scheduling flexibility (Fridays off!)
The Office of the Registrar performs numerous functions that are closely related to the academic mission of the University. These include scheduling of courses, registration, academic records maintenance, grades processing, official transcripts, and final audit for graduation.
- Winter Sessions
Winter Session provides you the opportunity to earn up to four credits in four weeks. Courses run from late December to mid January and are open to Montclair State University students and visiting students. Courses will be delivered in either hybrid or online modes.
