In anticipation of the impact of Hurricane Sandy, Montclair State
University will be closed, Monday, October 29. Day and evening
classes are canceled. All performances,
conferences, lectures, athletic events and all other activities
scheduled for Monday are canceled. Commuter students should
not come to campus.
All
residence halls will be open for resident students, and dining
services will be available in Sam’s Place and Freeman Dining Hall on a regular schedule. We strongly advise
students to remain where you are. If
you are in residence, stay here. If
you are safe at home, stay there.
Campus shuttle service will end at 11 pm tonight and resume at 7:00
AM on Monday, October 29th. Shuttle service will be limited to
Clove Road properties, Sam's Place and Red Hawk Deck only.
All essential service personnel should report to the campus as
directed by supervisors.
A notice concerning classes and events on
Tuesday, October 30 will be posted at approximately 5:00 p.m. on
Monday.
