The NJ News Commons will sponsor an Internship Fair on Tuesday, Nov. 27, from 7 to 9 p.m. in the Multipurpose News Room (Room 311) in Schmitt Hall to introduce communication and journalism students at Montclair State University to news organizations across the state.
Because of the many successful media partnerships that have been forged by Montclair State in the past year, representatives of NJTV, NJPR, WGBO, NJ Spotlight, Baristanet, NJ Tech Weekly, Morristown Green, NJ Arts News, Glocally Newark, Paterson Press, Elizabeth Inside Out, The Jersey Tomato Press and others are expected. Each editor will have five minutes to explain what they do, and what a student could learn by working with them. Afterwards, there will be a meet-and-greet to allow news organizations and students to get to know each other.
Students are advised to bring résumés.
