Caroline Dadas, new article

Caroline Dadas, assistant professor of English, has published a new article, "(Re)Tweeting in the service of protest: Digital composition and circulation in the Occupy Wall Street movement," in the upcoming issue of New Media and Society (Sage publications). Co-authored with Joel Penney of Communications, this article offers a typology of how Twitter is used in the service of protest, drawing attention to its utilization in conjunction with face-to-face actions. The article is based on interview data gathered from interviews with 17 Occupy Wall Street participants.
