Softball Sweeps DeSales; Hill Sets Mark for Career Wins

Red Hawks win 1-0 and 4-3 to up record to 33-1

The top-ranked Montclair State University softball team upped its record to 33-1, sweeping DeSales University 1-0 and 4-3 in a doubleheader at the Softball Stadium on April 21. Junior right-hander Alex Hill, who earned both victories in the twin bill becoming the all-time wins leader at Montclair State, tossed her 14th shutout of the season.

Earlier, on April 20, the Red Hawks split a doubleheader with Kean University winning the first contest 1-0 before falling 2-1 in the second game to bring their record winning streak to an end at 31 games, the eighth longest in NCAA Division III history.
