Due to an enormous increase in the amount of SPAM coming into campus from the Internet, the campus mail gateway (smtp.montclair.edu) requires an immediate software update at the recommendation of our vendor. The gateway will be unavailable for sending or receiving mail for approximately 20-30 minutes during the update already underway. No inbound mail will be lost during this period but delivery may be delayed until the service normalizes. We apologize for the inconvenience. Due to the nature of the problem, this notice could not be delivered via email.
