On Thursday Dec 28th at approximately 1:20PM portions of the campus lost utility power. The data center in University Hall was affected by the power loss and as a precautionary measure several key services including WESS and campus email have been temporarily shut down.
As of approx. 1:45PM PSE&G power had been restored, but it is unclear if the situation has been stabilized. When PSE&G and the University's Facilities Management office have determined the cause of the power loss and have confirmed that it is safe to restart equipment in the data center WESS, campus email, and other ancillary services will be restored.
