Passaic River Institute's Kelly Triece Receives Graduate Scholarship

Passaic River Institute's Kelly Triece was the recipient of a First Place Graduate Scholarship awarded by the New Jersey Society of Women Environmental Professionals.

Passaic River Institute's Kelly Triece was the recipient of a First Place Graduate Scholarship awarded by the New Jersey Society of Women Environmental Professionals. Ms. Triece was awarded for her for her work at the New Jersey School of Conservation teaching environmental education and for her dedication working on the PRI's Wildlife Guardians Project in collaboration with NJDEP, Endangered and Nongame Species Program. This project aims to identify and prioritize wildlife crossing hotspots in Northern New Jersey. The efforts of this project will be integrated in the NJ Habitat Connectivity Plan which aims to create a blueprint for strategic habitat conservation and will also highlight additional actions necessary to restore and maintain critical habitat linkages in the state.
