Effective July 1, 2014, New Jersey law requires that all Montclair State University employees receive their paycheck through Direct Deposit. This automatic, safe and confidential electronic transaction ensures that your paycheck will go straight to your account at the same time each pay period. It eliminates the risk of stolen checks and forged signatures, and helps protect employees from identity theft.
To avoid an interruption in pay, all employees not currently receiving their paychecks through Direct Deposit must submit a Direct Deposit form to Human Resources/Payroll Services by May 1, 2014.
