Although our program is unpaid we hope it will be offered for course credit. The internship will begin June 2 and end on August 29, 2014. Internship dates and schedule are flexible. A performance evaluation will be completed at the end of the program and will be shared with you upon student approval. The ideal student is one that is working towards a degree in any of the following areas:

  • Civil or Environmental Engineering
  • Biology
  • Environmental Science
  • Chemistry
  • Criminal Justice
  • Homeland Security

Our Internship Program is formal, structured and encompasses “real work” assignments. During the course of the summer the intern will assume the duties of the position and will work alongside the talented professionals who actually hold these roles today. The objective of the Internship Program is to prepare students for a career in their field of study. In addition, our goal for each participant is to have a unique experience and gain a well-rounded understanding of wastewater treatment working in the 5th largest sewerage treatment plant in the United States.
