College of Education and Human Services Holds Convocation Ceremony

Montclair State University’s College of Education and Human Services held its Convocation ceremony on Tuesday, May 20 at the University’s Sprague Field. In attendance were family, friends and guests of many of the 513 candidates who are to receive baccalaureate degrees from the College.

Kathleen M. Zelman ’75, director of nutrition for WebMD, received the Distinguished Alumni Award and delivered the keynote address.

President Susan A. Cole offered words of greeting and encouragement and seniors Alexis Fissinger and Esteban Morales addressed the audience on behalf of the graduating class. College of Education and Human Services Dean Francine Peterman presided over the ceremony and provided the closing remarks.

The candidates’ degrees will be conferred at the 2014 Commencement ceremony on Friday, May 23 at the IZOD Center in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
