Red Hawk Athletics Announces Award Winners for 2014-2015 Year

Two-time All-American basketball forward Melissa Tobie, who led Montclair State University to the NCAA Division III Final Four, and football All-American C. J. Conway, who helped Montclair State to the NJAC Championship last fall, were named Female and Male Outstanding Athletes of the Year, respectively, as the Red Hawk Department of Athletics handed out its awards for the 2014-15 academic year.

Tobie and Conway were two of 16 student-athletes honored at the annual All-Sports Banquet held at the Valley Regency in Clifton, N.J. on June 2.

Also honored were Michael Schreck (men’s lacrosse), Melissa Koster (women’s soccer), Lucas Terci (men’s soccer), Rebecca Brattole (field hockey), Rasheed Amilcar (track and field), Courtney Matlock (volleyball), Kyle Goodwin (men’s soccer), Jocelyn Anderson (indoor track), Matt Grundy (football), Sydney Stein (swimming), Jessica Bonjione (women’s soccer), Abby Erler (field hockey), Joelle Butrico (field hockey) and Kayla Ceballos (women’s basketball).
