The entire campus community is invited to the following two events on Opening Day, Tuesday, September 4:

11:15 a.m.: President's Address to the University Community in Kasser Theater.

12:00 noon: Welcome Picnic for the Freshman Class and the Campus Community in the Memorial Auditorium Plaza (rain location: Student Center Ballrooms).

In addition, the following events have been scheduled:

8:30 a.m.: University Service Awards (by invitation) – University Hall Conference Center

9:30 a.m.: Graduate Program Coordinator Meeting - Student Center 411-414

9:30 a.m.: Meeting of the Division of Student Development and Campus Life - Student Center Ballrooms

10:00 a.m.: University Senate Meeting - Student Center 419

1:15 p.m.: Freshman Class Welcome, Amphitheater

2:00 p.m.: Freshman Class Carnival, Student Center Quad

Time also has been set aside for the following:

1:30 p.m.: College/School Meetings

2:45 p.m.: Department Faculty Meetings
