MSU Athletes Earn NJAC Weekly Honors in Football, Men's Soccer, Field Hockey

Montclair, NJ (9/16/07) – Fresh off its 33-30 victory over No. 9 Springfield College, the Montclair State football team had two of its players honored by the New Jersey Athletic Conference on Sunday. Junior linebacker Cornell Hunt was named the league's Defensive Player of the Week for the second straight week while sophomore placekicker Marco Capozzoli was tabbed as the conference's Special Teams Player of the Week. In addition, Brian Miles of the men's soccer team and Shannon Gill of the field hockey squad, were named Defensive Players of the Week in their respective sports.
