Haverford, PA (8/31/08) –Freshman Rachel Senyszyn (Succasunna, NJ / Roxbury)
earned the first New Jersey Athletic Conference honor for Montclair
State this season as she was named the league's Rookie of the Week on
Monday.
Senyszyn
earns the first NJAC Rookie of the Week selection after tallying a goal
and an assist for three points in a pair of contests for Montclair
State during the Haverford Kickoff Classic. He opened her collegiate
career by notching an assist in MSU’s 3-2 season-opening loss to
Lynchburg.
One
day later, Senyszyn tallied her first career goal by netting the
game-winning score just 1:29 into the second overtime period for a 2-1
Red Hawk win over Arcadia.
