Three Irish Tenors at MSU Dec. 15

Celebrate the holidays with a genuine Irish Christmas starring "The Three Irish Tenors" at Montclair State University's Memorial Auditorium on Friday, Dec. 15, at 7:30 p.m. Tickets for the Great Events series offering, which also features Jacqueline Whelan, one of Ireland's most recognized sopranos, story teller and comedian Jimmy Kennedy and a host of Irish dancers and musicians, are $25.

Tenors Tom Cregan, Ciaran Nagle and Anthony Norton are making their United States touring debut in this lavish holiday production of "Christmas from Dublin." Audiences will be enchanted by its age-old traditions and reminiscences of an Irish childhood: the bathtub in front of an open fire as snow gently falls across the meandering meadows; the Wren boys, wearing festive straw masks and beating drums, calling to entertain us in the kitchen with their melodic tunes; the rhythm of parental feet on the flagstone floor dancing the night away and granddad relating stories to us of his childhood in Dublin.
