Dick Schaap Book signing and discussion, Sunday, Feb. 3, 2 to 3:30 p.m. In his new book, "Flashing Before My Eyes," the legendary sports journalist looks back on a 50-year career chronicling heroes (and a few villains) on and off the field. Schaap's televised features with ABC and ESPN have earned him five Emmy Awards. Admission is free with book purchase.
The Yogi Berra Museum and Learning Center houses a collection of permanent and rotating exhibits that highlight baseball's social history and the life of the legendary catcher. The Museum serves as a dynamic educational facility in the area with topical programs for all ages throughout the year. Located on the campus of Montclair State University, it is open from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m., Wednesdays through Sundays. Group tours and rentals are available 7 days a week.
