Rich Little Takes the Stage at Theatrefest 2001

TheatreFest, the professional wing of Montclair State University's School of the Arts, has a spectacular session ahead!

June 14-24, Rich Little is The Presidents! A poignant comedy by Ron Nessen and Loren Paul Caplin provides an insightful, touching and hilarious journey through America's last forty years and eight presidents!

June 28-July 8, the Next Stage Theatre presents Douglas Carter Beane's "As Bees in Honey Drown," a story about an aspiring novelist who is enticed into the glamorous world of a sexy and eccentric socialite, only to discover she had disappeared with both his heart and his money.

July 12-22, the World Premiere of the 2001 TheatreFest Regional Playwriting Contest winner, "Noon Day Sun" by Cassandra Medley, which centers around an African-American woman, who looking white, decides to 'pass' integrating herself into which society.
