Graduate Student Orientation 2001: Building a Foundation for Success

The first annual Graduate Student Orientation sponsored by the Graduate School will provide new graduate students at MSU the opportunity to obtain valuable information about the campus and its services as well as get to know faculty and administrators. There will be opportunities to ask questions and build relationships through both panel sessions and receptions with each school/college. Topics to be covered are the policies and services of the Graduate School, a tour of Sprague Library, and panel discussions with the Academic Success Center, Campus Safety and Security, Health and Wellness Services and Information Technology. Participating Graduate Students will learn how to find resources in the library, what type of academic support is available to graduate students, how to set up a student email accounts and where to go for medical assistance.
