Fallon Named NJAC Women's Lax Rookie of the Week

Montclair, NJ (3/26/09) – Freshman attack Maggie Fallon (Cherry Hill, NJ / Camden Catholic) became the second straight Red Hawk to earn NJAC Rookie of the Week honors as the league announced it accolades on Monday.

Fallon helped spark Montclair State to a pair of wins, the Red Hawks first of the season. She scored a season-best six goals and added a ground balls and caused turnover as MSU snapped a seven-game skid dating back to last season with a 16-10 win over Wellesley.

She then posted her second straight hat trick with three goals along with a ground ball and caused turnover as MSU knocked off Maritime in its Skyline Conference opener, 20-2.
