Men's Soccer Selected No. 2 in NJAC Poll, No. 7 in NSCAA Poll

Montclair, NJ (8/26/09) – After winning three straight New Jersey Athletic Conference championships, the Montclair State men's soccer team was picked to finish number two in the 2009 NJAC Preseason Coaches Poll released on Wednesday. The Red Hawks received four first-place votes but finished behind Richard Stockton in the poll conducted among the league coaches. The teams were reversed in the National Soccer Coaches Association (NSCAA) Preseason poll as Montclair is at No. 7 (the same ranking its finished last year) while Stockton is at No. 20.
