McDaniel Named NJAC Men's Basketball Rookie of the Week
Montclair, NJ (12/21/09) - Freshman forward David McDaniel (Plainfield, NJ / Rutgers Prep)
was selected as the New Jersey Athletic Conference Rookie of the Week
on Monday. McDaniel becomes the first Red Hawks to earn honors from the
conference this season.
McDaniel earns NJAC Men’s Basketball Rookie of the Week honors after helping the Red Hawks secure a 61-57 non-conference win over Scranton. In MSU’s only contest of the week, he tallied 13 points, five rebounds, three assists and one block in the victory which improved Montclair State to 7-3 overall on the season.

McDaniel currently ranks tied for ninth in the NJAC in blocks (0.90 per game).
