Jersey City, NJ (1/13/10) – Senior forward Catherine Cristino (Farmingdale, NJ / Colts Neck) finished with 15 points while freshman Rhonda Sharif (Cliffside Park, NJ / Cliffside Park) posted a season high with 14 points as Montclair State won its third straight downing New Jersey City University, 71-54 in an NJAC North Division matchup on Wednesday evening.

Senior guard Jackie Berry (Tuckerton, NJ / Pinelands Regional) finished with seven points, 11 rebounds and seven assists as the Red Hawks moved to 10-5 overall, 4-1 in the NJAC.

Montclair State returns to action on Saturday, January 16 as MSU returns home to host Rowan University at the Panzer Athletic Center in a 3:00 pm matchup. It will be Alumni Day for the Red Hawks as the annual Alumni Game will take place following the conclusion of the Red Hawk-Rowan contest.
