Ayanbeku earns NJAC Player of the Week honors after averaging 18.5 points, 9.5 rebounds, and 1.5 steals per game while leading the Red Hawks to a pair of key conference victories. She opened the week with her 10th double-double of the season including 10 points on 5-of-7 shooting from the field, along with 10 rebounds and two steals in a 61-46 NJAC victory over Rutgers-Newark. She wrapped up the week with a season-high 27 points on 10-of-17 shooting from the field, while adding nine rebounds, one steal, and one block in MSU’s 74-58 NJAC road win at Ramapo.
Ayanbeku, who shot a combined .625 (15-of-24) in the two victories combined, currently ranks second in the NJAC in
scoring with an average of 16.1 points per game.
