NJCUE A Unique Teaching Program

The New Jersey Consortium for Urban Education (NJCUE) is a pilot teaching program to be adopted statewide for Alternative Route and University based programs. We are looking to recruit the best and the brightest recent college graduates and career change professionals who did not take the traditional teaching track and who now have an interest in teaching in an urban setting.

This unique program is a partnership between Montclair State University, the Department of Education, New Jersey City University, William Paterson University, Kean University and the school districts of Newark, Paterson and Jersey City.

The pilot project begins July 2003. For information visit the Web site www.state.nj.us/njded/njcue, or contact the MSU Center of Pedagogy at (973) 655-7264.
