MacPhee Earns Women's Lacrosse Weekly Honors from NJAC, Skyline Conferences

Montclair, NJ (3/8/10) – Senior midfielder Morgan MacPhee (Toms River, NJ / Toms River East) earned a double honor on Monday as she was named the Player of the Week by both the New Jersey Athletic and Skyline Conferences.

MacPhee earned the first NJAC Women’s Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week selection as well as the first Skyline Player of the Week accolade after registering seven points in a 1-1 week of play for the Red Hawks. She opened the week by scoring a pair of goals while adding five draw controls and three ground balls in MSU’s 17-10 non-conference
defeat at 17th-ranked Stevens.

Three days later, she wrapped up the week by netting five goals in the Red Hawks’ first victory of the season, a 17-1 road win at NJAC newcomer Rutgers-Camden.

MacPhee currently leads the NJAC in both goals and points per game (3.67). She is ranked fourth in the Skyline in points per game and third in goals per contest.
