Sophomore lefthander Sean Hille (Edison, NJ / St. Joseph's (Metuchen)) was named to the Second Team while left fielder Mickey McGraw (so. Morristown, NJ/Morristown) earned Honorable Mention honors.
Boggi collected his second honor in as many season with the Red
Hawks as he was a Second-Team pick in 2009. Currently hitting .368 with
25 runs scored, Boggi has knocked in 34 runs along with 14 doubles and
two home runs. In addition he had walked 11 times and stole five bases
while committing just in error in 86 chances from his centerfield
position this season. In NJAC games, Boggi batted .403 with 17 RBI and
eight doubles.
Bond hit .397 in conference play behind
the plate and drove in 21 runs along with four doubles and three home
runs. Overall, Bond is batting .391 with 28 runs scored, nine doubles,
six home runs and 40 runs batted in. He has a .616 slugging percentage
and had thrown out 16 would-be base stealers.
Hille is currently 7-2 overall this season with a 3.18 ERA in 11 appearances, which includes 10 starts and three complete games. In 73.2 innings, Hille struck out 73 and walked 17. In NJAC play, Hille was just as good going 4-1 with a 2.81 ERA. In his five conference starts, he pitched into the eight in four of them, including two complete games. He fanned 34 and walked six in his NJAC appearances.
McGraw hit .389 with four doubles, 15 runs scored and 12 RBI in 18 NJAC contests. He is hitting .375 with 30 runs scored and 23 RBI while also drawing 14 walks and swiping 12 bases.
