Springfield, MA (5/17/10) -  Freshman Ashadaya Patterson (Trenton, NJ/Northern Burlington) and Ashley Powell (Orange, NJ / Marylawn of the Oranges) each took part in the ECAC Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships held at Springfield College over the weekend.

Patterson was looking to improve her standing on the NCAA provisional qualifying list in both hurdle events. She was the eighth and final qualifier in the 100 meter hurdles posted a time of 15.39. She finished in the same spot in the finals. The NJAC Outdoor Rookie of the Year then finished 11th in the 400 hurdles as she clocked in at 1:05.11.

Powell placed 13th in the 100 meters as she ran 12.76 during the preliminaries. The top eight qualifiers from the two heats advanced to the finals.
