Princeton, NJ (5/17/10) – Senior Eugene Asimou (Livingston, NJ / Livingston) and junior Will Brown (Gloucester, NJ / Palmyra) each posted provisional qualifying times for the NCAA Division III Championships as the Montclair State men's outdoor track and field team closed out its schedule at the IC4A Championships at Princeton University over the weekend.

Brown improved his chances for his return to the NCAA national meet as he finished as the top Division III competitor in the 110 hurdles. Brown posted a time of 14.49 seconds as he placed fourth in his heat and 12th overall. More importantly, he moved up to No. 5 on the list of potential qualifiers for the Division III Championships, which will take place in Cleveland, OH on May 21-23.

Asimou was the top finisher in his flight of the shot put as he threw 16.34 meters. He finished 10th overall and currently stands on the borderline for the NCAA Championships. Asimou is 17th in the latest performance list so it remains to be seen if the meet will take that number of competitors.

Adenford Jean-Philippe (Irvington, NJ / Irvington) also competed in the 110 hurdles event and finished seventh in his heat registering a time of 14.92 seconds.
