Undergraduate Admissions Collecting Donations for Area Needy

Montclair State University’s Office of Undergraduate Admissions has partnered with the Montclair Human Needs Food Pantry to assist needy individuals and families in the surrounding area by collecting food and, during the summer months, school supplies.

The Office of Undergraduate Admissions has placed a receptacle just inside the main “Undergraduate Admissions” entrance in College Hall to collect non-perishable food items throughout the year, and during the months of July and August, school supplies. New (not used) backpacks, lunchboxes notebooks, folders, paper, pens, pencils, scissors, glue sticks, colored pencils, crayons, rulers, and calculators are being accepted and will go to needy Essex County school children at the end of August.

Since the Office of Undergraduate Admissions hosts more than 40,000 guests each year, the possibilities of what this partnership may accomplish are very exciting. Help Montclair State help our community and support this worthy cause with your donation!
