Wayne, NJ (9/22/10) - The Montclair State men's soccer team's contest with William Paterson was postponed following the heavy wind and rain storm that blew through the North Jersey area on Wednesday evening.
No reschedule date for the game has been announced and will be replayed from the beginning when the new date is chosen.
The Red Hawks trailed the Pioneers, 1-0 with 12:48 remaining in the first half when the game was halted due to the storm. Following a delay of over an hour the game was postponed.
It is the second straight season that the two teams had their contest postponed. Last year, WPU took a 1-0 lead 1:44 into the contest at Sprague Field before heavy rain forced the postponement. When the game was replayed, the teams tied 1-1.
