This is a reminder to all students who are New Jersey residents and who wish to be considered for the Tuition Aid Grant (TAG) program for the 2010-2011 academic year. Students who have not yet been awarded a TAG may have an incomplete application with the New Jersey Higher Education Student Assistance Authority (HESAA).
For this academic year, HESAA required all TAG applicants to complete a few questions in addition to filing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Students who have not yet answered these questions have until November 15, 2010 to do so or they will lose eligibility for a TAG award for the fall semester.
The additional questions are included on the 2010-2011 Additional Data Collection for State Aid (TAG) form. The form is available online at the Student Financial Aid Web site’s New Jersey State Aid page. Please go to New Jersey State Aid for the appropriate form (either the Dependent or Independent Student form), and for information about how to file it.
Please remember that that the deadline for filing is November 15, 2010. For more information please visit Student Financial Aid. If you have a specific question, please contact the Office of Student Financial Aid by e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org or by phone at 973-655-4461.
