Adenugba Named NJAC Men's Indoor Field Athlete of the Week

Montclair, NJ (12/6/10) – Sophomore Niyi Adenugba (North Brunswick, NJ / North Brunswick) was named the first NJAC Men's Indoor Field Athlete of the Week for th 2010-11 season on Monday.

Adenugba had a solid day as the Red Hawks posted six first-place finishes, including a 1-2-3 showing in two different events in their season opener at the Wesleyan Invitational in Middletown, CT.

Adenbugba won the long jump and high jump before finishing third in the 55 hurdles. He leaped 6.16 meters (20-feet, 2.5-inches) in winning the long jump and then went 1.78 meters (5-10) in taking top honors in the high jump. He capped his day with a time of 8.70 seconds in the hurdles.
